      Previously, as CEO at Clif Bar & Company, Kevin was instrumental in growing company revenue 10X to become a leader in the healthy snack food category. With his relentless focus on strategy, execution and culture, he built a multiple bottom line organization that won numerous awards for green business, “Great Places to Work,” and sustainable agriculture. Kevin holds an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS from University of California at Berkeley.

  • Johnny Valeriote:  President & CEO, Omnium
    • Johnny founded Omnium, along with partners Colin R. Davidson and Adam Carter, with a vision of helping CPG clients succeed with sound business strategy backed by industry experience, mathematics and data science.  After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Pure Math and Computer Science as well as a Master’s Degree in Computational Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Johnny has spent the last decade consulting in several CPG categories, working closely with clients from Clif Bar to Del Monte, to define their trade strategy, managing P&L, and ensuring their overall success.
  • Mary Tarczynski (moderator): Principal, Parabolic
    • Mary Tarczynski has 25+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams to build equity and drive sales for CPG brands including Coca-Cola, Kraft, Clorox and Campbell’s. She left corporate marketing to spend four years in emerging ad tech; then in 2016 co-founded Parabolic, a shopper marketing agency offering “ideas with trajectory” – integrated strategies, concepts and activations to help established and emerging natural brands sell in and sell through at retail. Current clients include Amy’s, Enviroscent, LaTourangelle, Lundberg Family Farms, Traditional Medicinals, Weleda and more.

      Mary is an advocate for diversity in leadership and serves as Co-Chair for the Network of Executive Women Northern California Region and as an Executive in Residence at Plug & Play Tech Center, advising consumer brands and ad tech startups. She and her husband live in Rockridge (Oakland) and are the parents of a Brown University graduate and UCLA and UCSC students. When not working or volunteering, Mary can be found running or hiking on Bay Area trails.
